Free AEO audit.See what AI says about you before you spend a dollar.

A diagnostic, not a pitch deck. We run the questions your buyers ask, record what the engines say, scan the technical side, and tell you what we find.

  • Real prompts, real responses
  • Technical scan included
  • An honest recommendation
The short answer

An AEO audit is a free diagnostic where operators run your buyers' real questions against the major answer engines, scan your site's technical health, and give a plain recommendation on whether the work is worth doing. Perfectus Labs delivers it before any contract.

What it is

AEO Audit

Most audits are a report generator plus a sales call. This one starts with actual answers: we ask the engines the questions your buyers ask and show you what came back, including who got named instead of you.

Alongside that we run the technical scan, so you know whether the problem is that nobody can read your site, that nothing worth citing exists on it, or that a competitor simply got there first.

Then we tell you which of those is costing you the most, and whether it's worth paying anyone, us included, to fix it this quarter.

How it runs

Four steps, every month.

01

Agree the questions

The handful of questions that decide deals in your category.

02

Run the engines

Real prompts across the major answer engines, with the responses and sources recorded.

03

Scan the site

Crawl access, rendering, structured data, and the technical blockers that would stop any of this working.

04

Give the honest read

What's costing you most, what it would take, and whether now is the right time.

The difference

How most teams handle this, and how we do.

Question sourcing

The usual approach

Generic keyword tools generate the list

AEO Audit

Operators agree the real deal-deciding questions with you

Evidence gathered

The usual approach

A report cites theoretical best practices

AEO Audit

We record actual answer engine responses

Technical review

The usual approach

The site is assumed to be fine

AEO Audit

We run a full crawl and rendering scan

Recommendation

The usual approach

The report always ends in a pitch

AEO Audit

We tell you honestly if it's not worth it yet

Turnaround

The usual approach

Findings sit in a queue for weeks

AEO Audit

You get the read in about a week

What you get

  • Recorded answers on your key questions
  • Who's being cited instead, and why
  • A technical blocker list
  • A plain recommendation, including 'not yet'

Who it's for

Anyone evaluating whether AEO is worth budget, and anyone who has been pitched on it and wants a second read.

If you've already decided and want to start, skip the audit and start the program. The first thirty days include all of this.

Free, with no obligation. The program itself is month to month, thirty days notice.

Investment

From $1,500 a month.

  • Tier 1 from $1,500 / month
  • Tier 2 from $2,500 / month
  • Tier 3 from $3,500 / month
  • One-time $1,000 setup, month to month after that
Reporting

A dashboard, updated regularly. A report, every week.

Prompt-level citation movement, everything shipped tied to the branch it targeted, what it changed, and what's next. Including the parts that didn't move and what we're doing differently because of it.

Questions

Before you ask us.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. Every engagement starts with it, and there's no obligation to continue.

What happens if we go ahead?

The audit becomes the plan for your Cognos program, and everything it flagged is covered inside it: technical work, entity and schema, content, business profile, press, citation targeting, and tracking are included in every tier.

How soon does work start if we go ahead?

Kickoff happens within a week of signature. The first thirty days are the setup: technical baseline, fan-out map, entity graph, and the publishing plan.

How long does it take?

Three to five business days from the point we agree the question list.

Will you tell us not to buy?

Regularly. If the gap isn't costing you enough to justify the spend, saying so is worth more to us than a short contract.

Bring us the number you're trying to move.

We run the audit, then map your first thirty days against it.
